Sports Premium

Please read the information below which gives details of our PE and Sport Premium Grant and how we allocate the funding.

PE Provision


The school is currently allocated £8000 plus £5 per pupil.

New approach to swimming from September 2013 following advice for the schools swimming services

Class 3 – 9 sessions

Class 4 – 9 sessions


More challenge and progress – all being taught by instructors – more certificates achieved 

Class activate sessions

morning 10 minutes and afternoon 5 minutes


Schools Services Sports- Activate

Class 3 – 2 x 1 hour sessions

Class 4 – 2 x 1 hour sessions

Class 2 – 2 x 1 hour sessions


Different professionals leading sports in their specialist fields

All classes meeting National required time limits for PE or surpassing them

Interschool competition entries (cross country,  Hi Five netball and football 'friendlies').



Autumn term- football and Hi Five /multisports/ ball skills

Spring – Football/ Hi five/Cheerleading-dance

Interschool swimming gala

Summer – Multisports resumed following final SATs booster club (inc High Five)
